For more than two decades, Jon Egen has been advancing innovative supply chain strategies throughout North and South America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.


Jon has taken millions of dollars in cost out of the supply chain in a broad spectrum of full-time functional assignments and consulting engagements.  His forward-thinking strategies increased supplier agreements by 57% in one year, designed scalable logistics operations that grew 300% in nine months, increased the material content supplied from low cost regions by 35% in one year, and implemented a unique negotiation approach that locked in production pricing on new product development hardware prior to design release.


Jon has leveraged his sophisticated knowledge of the supply chain to positively influence the bottom line of large corporations and small businesses in manufacturing and services as well as private and government customer and supplier bases. The depth of his experience spans a multitude of industries including Aerospace, Defense, Finance, Construction and Medical Equipment.


Jon has served as the Corporate Director of Supply Chain and Commodity Management for Ducommun, Inc.  Jon previously served as the Director of Supply Chain for Simula, now part of BAE Systems.  Jon also previously served as the Corporate Director for Global Sourcing and Strategic Relationships for Honeywell International.  He served as the Corporate Director for the Castings and Forgings Commodity at Honeywell, and also in strategic and tactical supply chain leadership roles at the business operations level.  Previous experience includes supply chain leadership positions at companies in the Defense, Finance, and Medical Equipment industries. 


Jon is a certified Six Sigma Supply Chain Black Belt, a Certified Professional in Supply Management and a Certified Purchasing Manager. He holds a Supply Chain Management degree from Arizona State University and is also a decorated retired Army Supply Chain officer.


Jon thoroughly understands the supply chain and the impact that it can have on the bottom line.  His unique ability to take a bird’s eye view of the supply chain, while simultaneously honing in on the most intricate of details gives Jon an unparalleled understanding and discernment of complex business situations, and an ability to communicate clearly at all levels.
